Sun, 17 Dec 2006 At about one o'clock this morning I finished moving the machine and the cabinet that lives next to it. Its amazing how heavy tooling, machine parts, and metal stock are when you are moving whole drawers of it instead of the usual couple of pieces at a time. The bottom few drawers of the cabinet were especially nasty, they're full of steel - rounds, flats, disks... But everything is now moved, leveled, and all the drawers are back in the cabinets. I can stand behind the shoptask for the first time since I got it. I'm pretty much decided that the CNC control box is going to mount on the back of the bench. Now I need to figure out what goes in it, and how big it needs to be. The box will have to be chip and oil tight, so it won't be cheap. (Unless I get lucky and scrounge something.) The obligatory pic, click to enlarge. (posted: 17 Dec 2006 12:26) (permalink) |
